Fritt Palestina!

Fri kamerat Hassan Shahadeh!

Lenge leve internasjonal solidaritet!

—————-

The central committee of the Young Communists of Norway stands in solidarity with the Palestinian Democratic Youth Union (PDYU) following the arrest of Comrade Hassan Shahadeh, a former prisoner and the head of PDYU in the West bank. Comrade Shahadeh’s home was raided by Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Thursday, 17th of September 2026. The Young Communists of Norway strongly condemns the arrest, and stands with Shahadeh, his family, the PDYU and the Palestinian people. We agree that this is deliberate targeting of Palestinian youth activists, and join the PDYU in calling for his immediate and unconditional release along with other Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

In the face of oppression it is more important than ever to speak up when you are trying to be silenced. That is why we and other organisations around the world need to stand in solidarity with Comrade Shahadeh, The PDYU, and the Palestinian liberation movement in these difficult times.

Free Palestine!

Free Comrade Hassan Shahadeh!

Long live international solidarity!
